§ 84-12. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except when the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Nuisance service call means any activity, conduct, or condition occurring upon private property within the city which unreasonably disturbs the quiet, comfort and repose of persons in the vicinity including, but not limited to the following:
(1)
Noise violations, contrary to section 54-46 et seq., of this code;
(2)
Offenses against the public peace, contrary to section 74-31 et seq., of this code; and
(3)
Offenses against public morals, contrary to section 74-126 et seq., of this code.
Repeat nuisance service call means nuisance service calls to a particular location or premises if such location or premises has received nuisance service calls on four or more previous occasions within a period of 365 days.
Responsible party means any individual, firm, corporation, association, partnership, commercial entity, consortium, joint venture or any other legal entity which is the owner or occupant of real property from which, onto which or related to which there is a police emergency incident or a nuisance service call.
The above enumerations shall not be deemed to be exclusive.
