§ 38-79. Reports required prior to issuance of license.

  • The following reports shall be given to the city commission prior to the issuance of a crematorium license by the city commission:

    (1)

    A police department report of the moral character of all parties having any interest in the business.

    (2)

    A zoning department report stating whether the proposed site meets zoning requirement.

    (3)

    A report from the city manager or his designee as to whether the proposed site adequately protects the neighbors from any unsightly view or odors and whether the applicant has a state license for a crematorium.

    (4)

    A report from the building inspections department on whether the proposed facility meets or will meet the city applicable codes.

    (5)

    A report from the fire marshal stating that all required permits from the fire department have been or will be issued.
