§ 30-282. Massage establishment license required; state license.

  • (a)

    No person shall own, operate, conduct, engage in, or carry on or permit to be operated, conducted, engaged in or carried on, in or upon any premises in the city, the operation of a massage establishment or massage school without a valid massage establishment license as provided in this article.

    (b)

    No person shall act as an instructor in any massage establishment unless such person is licensed to act in such capacity according to federal and state laws and local ordinances.

    (c)

    No person shall act as an apprentice or student in any massage establishment except in compliance with federal and state laws and local ordinances.

    (d)

    No person shall administer or allow an employee to administer any form of massage unless such person or employee is duly licensed to act in such capacity according to federal and state laws and local ordinances.
