§ 30-191. Notice and instructions to occupants of premises.
(a)
Before any fumigating or exterminating work is done, the fumigator or exterminator or operator in charge shall inspect the premises and serve notice on all occupants of each room or apartment within the danger area, stating the danger and precautions to be observed, designating the rooms and apartments to be vacated and the time that the gases, fumes or vapors are to be generated or liberated.
(b)
Before fumigation or extermination, the operator shall provide the occupants of the premises with a printed list of precautions and instructions, listing in detail the following items of information:
(1)
The area that must be vacated.
(2)
How long the area must remain vacated.
(3)
The items of food and material that should be removed during fumigation or extermination.
(4)
A warning regarding bedroom windows and bed clothing.
(5)
The dangerous characteristics of hydrocyanic acid gas or other fumigants which are to be used.
This printed form shall be delivered to occupants of the adjoining area as well as occupants of the danger area.
