§ 26-290. Temporary certificate, certificate not transferable.

(a)

Upon application of an owner or occupant of a rental dwelling unit, the code official is permitted to authorize issuance of a temporary certificate of compliance until such time as inspection can be made, or when minor violations exist which do not pose immediate danger to the occupant, and the owner has provided a plan approved by the code official for making corrections.

(b)

A certificate of compliance is not transferable. A new owner shall register any rental dwelling within 30 days of ownership transfer.
