§ 26-289. Condition of issuance.

A certificate of compliance shall be issued on condition that the premises remain in a safe, healthful and fit condition for occupancy. The code official may immediately suspend the certificate of compliance for an affected area when conditions exist which constitute a hazard to health or safety. The code official shall be authorized to order vacated any area for which the certificate of compliance has been suspended.
