§ 10-62. Authority of police officers.

Any police officer who witnesses a person violating section 10-57 may stop and detain the person for purposes of obtaining such satisfactory identification, seizing illegally possessed alcoholic beverages and issuing an appearance ticket as defined in MCLA 764.9f, MSA 28.868(6).
