§ 10-61. Demand of identification and evidence of age.
The person in charge of any establishment where alcoholic beverages are sold either for consumption on the premises or to take out shall have the right at any time to demand any person offering to buy, buying or obtaining any alcoholic beverage in such establishment who may appear to such person to be under the age of 21 years, to show his identification card, and upon failure of such person to produce same or other satisfactory evidence of age, may refuse to serve such person with any alcoholic liquor and may exclude such person from the place of business. Any person who shall refuse to leave the establishment and who shall refuse to answer all reasonable questions as to age, and identification, whether asked by the licensee, an employee of the licensee, or a member of the city police department shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
