§ 102-94. Schedule of fines for parking violations.

(a)

The following is a schedule of fines for a first violation within a 12-month period:

(1)

Violation of posted time ..... $10.00

(2)

Parking in bus stop or taxi cab stand ..... 10.00

(3)

Parking within 15 feet of fire hydrant ..... 10.00

(4)

Parking in a postal zone ..... 10.00

(5)

Parking in a prohibited zone ..... 10.00

(6)

Double-parking ..... 10.00

(7)

Alley parking or obstructing a driveway ..... 10.00

(8)

Blocking a crosswalk or intersection ..... 10.00

(9)

Parking within 15 feet of an intersection or in a yellow zone ..... 10.00

(10)

Parking for more than 48 hours ..... 10.00

(11)

Parking in a handicap zone ..... 100.00

(12)

All other parking violations ..... 10.00

(b)

A fine for a second violation of subsection (a) within a 12-month period shall be two times the amount set forth in subsection (a).

(c)

A fine for a third violation of subsection (a) within a 12-month period shall be three times the amount set forth in subsection (a).

(d)

A fine for a fourth violation of subsection (a) within a 12-month period shall be four times the amount set forth in subsection (a).

(e)

A fine for five or more violations of subsection (a) within a 12-month period shall be five times the amount set forth in subsection (a).

(f)

All fines provided for in subsection (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of this section will be doubled if not paid within 21 days from the date of issuance of the violation.
