§ 11.1.1. Election of commissioners.

Commissioners shall be nominated and elected to four-year terms by the wards in which they respectively reside. The terms of the commissioners shall be staggered with commissioners from the odd-numbered wards being elected at the same time and commissioners from the even-numbered wards being elected at the same time. The newly elected commissioners shall assume the duties of their offices at the commencement of the first regular commission meeting following their election.
