§ 74-155. False identification.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to furnish to a police officer false, forged, fictitious, or misleading verbal or written information identifying the person as another person, if the person is detained for a violation of the Code of Ordinances or temporarily for the purpose of issuance of a civil infraction, or to falsely identify himself or another person to a police officer as the operator of a motor vehicle when he knows the information to be untrue.
