§ 58-56. A101.1 Scope, amended.

Section A101.1 of the International Fire Code 2009 shall be amended to read as follows:

" A101.1 Scope. The board of appeals shall be established within the jurisdiction for the purpose of hearing applications for modification of the requirements of the International Fire Code pursuant to the provisions of Section 108. the board shall be established and operated in accordance with this section, and shall be authorized to hear evidence pertaining the application and intent of this code for the purpose of issuing orders pursuant to these provisions. Any person shall have the right to appeal to the board of appeals from a decision of the code official. Applications must be filed in writing with the code official, together with a filing fee as specified in Section 58-43. All appeals must be filed within fourteen (14) days of the notice of violation or order appealed from."
