§ 38-47. Visiting hours and visitors conduct.

(a)

Visitors are permitted in the cemetery between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., May through September; and 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., October through April. Gates shall be locked at 8:00 p.m. daily (May through September), weekends and holidays included; and at 5:00 p.m. daily (October through April), weekends and holidays included. The city manager shall have the authority to adjust visiting hours as he determines necessary, providing that proper notice is given. Youths under 18 years of age will not be permitted on the cemetery grounds, unless accompanied by an adult or they have obtained permission from the cemetery superintendent.

(b)

Visitors will refrain from all excessive noise while in the cemetery. Loitering, picnicking and all recreational activities shall not be permitted on cemetery grounds. Consumption or possession of food or beverages by visitors is prohibited.

(c)

No person shall enter or leave the cemetery by any means other than through the gates.
