§ 30-197. Watchmen.

  • (a)

    During the period in which fumigation or extermination is in process, capable, alert watchmen shall remain on duty at the entrance or entrances to every building or enclosed space in which the work is being done. All watchmen shall be reliable persons approved by the health officer. The licensed fumigator or exterminator shall be held strictly responsible and accountable for the conduct of his watchmen. The watchmen shall remain on the premises for such length of time as is determined in each case by the health officer.

    (b)

    In every case, the health officer shall determine the number of watchmen that are to be used; provided, however, that at least two watchmen shall be present on the releasing of any fumigant.
