§ 30-331. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meaning ascribed to them in this article, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Pawnbroker means a person, corporation, member or members of a partnership, company or firm, who loans money on deposit, or pledge of personal property, or other valuable thing, other than securities or printed evidence of indebtedness, or who deals in the purchasing of personal property or other valuable thing on condition of selling the same back again at a stipulated price.
