§ 30-126. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Billiard room and poolroom means any place where any person shall operate or maintain for hire or charge, any billiard table or tables, or pool table or tables.

Card club means any private or public club, including not for profit clubs, which provides tables or other supplies for the playing of cards, or where cards are played over the counter or other similar recreational activities are provided or permitted.

Cigar store means any place where cigars, cigarettes, tobacco supplies, candy and sundries are sold at retail and/or which provides tables for the playing of cards in connection with such business, and/or where cards are played over the counter and/or other recreational activities are provided or permitted in the room where the business is conducted or in an adjoining room.
