§ 2-125. Duties and police powers of police auxiliary corps.

  • The duties of the police auxiliary corps, subject at all times to the direction, supervision and control of the police chief, shall be to assist the regular members of the police department of the city in the prevention of crime and in the apprehension of criminals and in the protection of life and property and the preservation of peace and order. Members of such corps shall possess all common law and statutory powers of constables and sheriffs.
