§ 2-120. Examination of applicant.

An applicant for membership in either corps established by this division shall be required to sign any waivers requested by the city to obtain any medical or health records that may exist concerning the applicant's ability to perform the essential function of the position. If requested, an applicant who has been preliminarily approved shall submit to a complete medical and/or psychological examination by a duly licensed professional designated by the city prior to participation as a member of the corps. All medical records, medical reports and psychological reports shall be forwarded to the human resources department. The records and reports shall remain confidential.
