§ 26-527. General requirements.

All wrecking of buildings shall be done in a safe, workmanlike manner, using due care to prevent injury to persons or damage to property. It shall be the obligation of the person to whom a permit is issued under this article to diligently conduct his operation in a safe and prudent manner, using equipment reasonably required for the protection of persons and property and performing the work in a safe and workmanlike manner, in accordance with the requirements of this article and other ordinances and state laws applicable to such operations. It shall be the obligation of such permit holder to control and supervise all operations and he shall be responsible therefor.
