§ 26-50. Violation penalties.

Any person who shall violate a provision of the Michigan Building Code or a provision of the Michigan Residential Code shall be responsible for a municipal civil infraction, punishable by a fine as specified herein for that violation:

Michigan Building Code, sec. 113.4, Class F

Michigan Building Code, sec. 114.2, Class H

Michigan Residential Code, sec. R113.4, Class F

Michigan Residential Code, sec. R114.1, Class H

A person is responsible for a separate offense for each day that the person fails to comply with a stop construction order and for each week that the person fails to comply with any other validly issued order.
