§ 26-40. Preamble and purpose.

This article shall be known and cited as the "Michigan Residential Code" and is enacted for the purpose of designating an enforcing agency to discharge the responsibility of the city under the provisions of the state Construction Code Act (Act 230, P.A. 1972, as amended).
