§ 26-11. Building department established; transfer of functions and personnel.

There is hereby created the building department in and for the city, and all of the functions and personnel of the former bureau or department of permits and inspections are hereby transferred to the building department. Whenever reference is made to the bureau or department of permits and inspections in the codes, ordinances, resolutions or other actions of the city, it shall mean the building department.
