§ 118-32. Permits for races, regattas or exhibitions.

  • No person shall conduct or engage in any race, regatta, or exhibition upon the waters of the harbor, without first obtaining a permit from the harbor master and except in accordance with the terms thereof. The harbor master shall determine if the requested use of the harbor can be carried out in an orderly fashion, safely and without undue disruption of the use of the harbor, and if so, may issue a permit authorizing such use. The permit shall specify the manner in which the activity is to be conducted, supervised, and controlled, and the time and place thereof, and such other reasonable terms and conditions as the harbor master shall determine are required.
