§ 118-27. Harbor master and deputy harbor masters generally.

  • (a)

    The chief of police is hereby designated as harbor master for the port of the city, without any further or additional pay or compensation than that received as chief of police. The members of the police force shall constitute deputy harbor masters, and in the absence, disqualification or illness of the harbor master, the acting chief of police shall be acting harbor master.

    (b)

    It shall be the duty of the harbor master and his deputies to enforce the execution of the several provisions of this article and all other ordinances regulating and controlling the harbor and its use, and to make complaint for any violations thereof.
