§ 106-393. Connection permit—Required.

  • No connection to any service pipe or distributing pipe or main for the purpose of introducing water into any premises shall be made until a permit therefor has been issued by the superintendent. A separate permit shall be required for each separate service pipe or service connection, or both such pipe and connection when the same form a part of the same service. No person shall lay or cause to be laid any service pipe or do any kind of plumbing work on any service pipe or service connection used for obtaining a supply of water from the waterworks until such permit has been issued.
