§ 106-54. Multiple buildings; separate uses within buildings.

  • A separate and independent building sewer shall be provided for every building. Independent building sewers and/or control manholes may also be required for separate uses within a building, as determined necessary by the POTW superintendent. Exceptions may be considered by the POTW superintendent only for pre-existing buildings that cannot otherwise be connected to the sanitary sewer system. Exceptions may also be considered by the POTW superintendent for integrated manufacturing facilities with process or assembly connections between buildings. In no case shall the city be responsible for damage caused by or resulting from any single building sewer that serves more than one building.
