§ 106-293. Severance or suspension of sewer and/or water service.

  • If a user violates or continues to violate any provision of this article (including, without limitation, any notice, order, permit, decision or determination promulgated, issued or made by the POTW under this article), or if the city determines that the user's actual or proposed discharge may present an imminent or substantial endangerment to the health or welfare of persons or the environment, the city may immediately, and without notice, sever or suspend sewer and/or water service provided to the user by the city. If severed or suspended, the sewer and/or water service shall recommence only after the user has satisfactorily demonstrated to the city the user's ability to comply with all applicable provisions of this article, and only at the user's sole expense.
