§ 102-99. Spaces for handicappers.

  • (a)

    Definition. Shopping center means a minimum of three acres of land on which there is located one or more stores or business establishments and where there is provided a parking area.

    (b)

    Required. Each shopping center parking area within the city shall provide parking spaces specifically designated for handicappers in numbers to conform with the requirements of section 2 of Act No. 1 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1966 (MCLA 125.1352), as amended.

    (c)

    Sign/control device. A sign or other control device required under this section shall conform to the requirements of the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic-Control devices.
